A 5.1-magnitude artificial earthquake in North Korea occurred Wednesday morning.
The Korea Meteorological Administration said that it was undoubtedly an artificial earthquake.
The Chinese earthquake center said it might have been caused by an “explosion.”
The U.S. Geological Survey reported that the earthquake occurred 49 kilometers from Gilju, North Korea's nuclear test site.
The South Korean government said that it will hold a National Security Council meeting.
