Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida is considering visiting South Korea in September to hold talks with President Yoon Suk Yeol, Kyodo news agency said, citing unnamed diplomatic sources.
Kishida, who said last week he would step down next month, aims to reconfirm cooperative ties between the two east Asian neighbours before leaving office, Kyodo said. (Reuters)
