The University of Costa Rica has invited Korea University students to visit as part of an exchange program between the two universities, according to the Embassy of Costa Rica in Seoul.
Twenty-three Korea University students will leave for Costa Rica on Jan. 31 and join the program for the next four weeks.
They will study Spanish and visit the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Worship, the University for Peace, mandated by the United Nations, coffee co-operatives and tourist attractions, including national parks.
The program will help the students “broaden their knowledge about this democratic and peaceful Central American nation,” the embassy said.
This will be the second round of visits to Costa Rica by Korea University students.
