Cellist receives French award
Korean cellist Yang Sung-won, right, with his father Yang Hae-yeop, left, and French Ambassador to Korea Fabien Penone at Penone’s residence in Seoul on June 27. Penone awarded the artists the French honorific distinction chevalier (knight) in the order of Arts et Lettres, on behalf of the French Minister of Culture Francoise Nyssen.
