Norwegian Prime Minister Erna Solberg will visit Korea on April 14-16, the Norwegian Embassy said.
This is her first visit since her inauguration in 2013.
According to the embassy, Solberg plans to meet Korean President Park Geun-hye to discuss “bilateral and global issues to deepen the cooperation between the two countries.”
She will also speak at a National Assembly’s forum on the importance of achieving sustainable development goals through politics, partnerships and people’s participation.
The embassy said the prime minister will visit Gyeongbok Palace to learn about the history of the Joseon Dynasty and the National War Memorial of Korea, where she will lay a wreath at the Norwegian Monument to commemorate Norway’s participation in the Korean War.
