Dream Program 2013: Kenyan Ambassador Ngovi Kitau, third from right in the back row, joins participants of Dream Program 2013 from Kenya and Korean organizers during the opening ceremony at the Alpensia Resort on Jan. 6. Organized by Gangwon Province, the program gives people the chance to learn winter sports for 10 days. Eight were invited from Kenya, making a total of 166 participants from 40 countries. ASEAN-Korea Center is accepting submissions for its annual drawing contest.
Elementary and middle school students are eligible, and the deadline is Jan. 23. The theme of the contest is “ASEAN and Korea — We are Friends.” Winners will be awarded a prize and a chance to exhibit their work at the center’s Seoul headquarters in February and March.
