US Deputy Secretary of State Nides to visit Seoul

A senior U.S. diplomat will visit South Korea next week for discussions on a wide range of issues, the U.S. government said Saturday, as the countries prepare to implement their free trade agreement (FTA).

Deputy Secretary of State Thomas R. Nides will also visit Japan during his Feb. 27-March 2 trip to Asia, according to a statement released by the U.S. Department of State.
