Former Utah Governor Jon Huntsman, a Republican presidential hopeful, on Thursday expressed disappointment at no sign of change in North Korea's authoritarian leadership despite the death of its longtime leader.
"I say there's not a very good outcome coming out of North Korea," he said in an interview with CBS News. "It looks like Kim Jong-un is successfully consolidating his power, which means you have the continuation of the most reckless, brutal dictatorship in the world today."
He was referring to the secretive communist nation's stated next leader. Kim Jong-un is the third and youngest son of Kim Jong-il, who died of a heart attack Dec. 17 after nearly two decades in power. (Washington=Yonhap)
