The Brazilian embassy in Seoul hosted an exhibition of photographs taken by Joao Paulo Barbosa from Thursday at the Gallery of Korea Foundation.
The exhibition featuring the theme of “Brazil Through My Eyes” will continue until Tuesday.
Barbosa, who won a special mention in the 2010 Banff Mountain Photography Competition held in Canada, chose 50 images of Brazil that he took over the past 15 years for the exhibition in Seoul.
His photographs have been published in 30 magazines and eight books and were presented in 32 exhibitions in several foreign countries, including Spain, India and Indonesia.
Some of his photos are exhibited in the National Museum of the American Indian in Washington D.C.
