French donation to victims of earthquake:

Consoling Captain Seok:

Pakistani Ambassador to Korea Shaukat Ali Mukadam, right, talks with Seok Hae-kyun, captain of the 11,500-ton chemical carrier Samho Jewelry, during a visit to Ajou University Hospital in Suwon on June 16. The ship was hijacked by Somali pirates in January this year off the Omani coast. Korean Navy commandos rescued him and 20 other crew members on board, but he sustained multiple gunshot wounds which required a major surgery to save his life. The ambassador said, “Pakistan has also suffered a great deal at the hands of Somali pirates and many Pakistani seamen were taken hostage by Somali pirates for ransom.”
