Annapurna Women's Club in Korea hosts Diwali, the Indian light festival, on Oct. 30 at the Millennium Seoul Hilton.

It is an important five-day festival in Hinduism, Sikhism and Jainism, which usually takes place between the mid October and mid-November.

It is the biggest holiday in India where the nation witnesses a major diaspora.

The gala dinner will serve Indian food prepared by a chef flown in from India, combined with music, dance and lucky draws.

The event starts at 6:30 p.m.

For tickets to the gala dinner, visit the website www.indembassy.or.kr or call 02-798-4257.
