Help Pakistan’s flood victims:

Pakistan Ambassador to Korea Shaukat Ali Mukadam, fifth from left in the second row, and his wife Anada, join student volunteers for a photo after a charity bazaar to help the victims of the flood that hit Pakistan over the summer, at Beautiful Store, a second-hand shop in Anguk-dong, Seoul, on Oct, 2. Over 7,000 items from more than 10 countries had been donated for the cause, and the ambassador took part in the event, explaining the damage and relief efforts that are going on in Pakistan.

Golf diplomacy:

Ambassadors and members of the Corps of Honorary Consuls in Korea pose for a photo during a golf tournament held in Gapyeong, Gyeonggi Province, last Tuesday. Participants included ambassadors from Bangladesh, Norway, Malaysia, Vietnam, Morocco and Slovakia. It is an annual match hosted by the corps.

Headed by Marita Seidt, wife of German Ambassador Hans-Ulrich Seidt, the club has spouses of foreign diplomats as members. More than 10 countries have been represented at the exhibition, which included Norway, Austria, Indonesia, Russia, Sweden, Nigeria, Brunei and Australia.
