Britich Council to Present Drama
The British Council in Seoul will present the drama ``My Fair Student,'' originating from the film ``My Fair Lady'' on July 28-29 at the British Embassy.
The theater team consists of the British Council students directed by John Grummit, one of the teachers at the Council.
The drama tells the story of Emily, who endeavors to improve her English.
She wants to take a language course in the U.K. but her English instructor advises her that the language course would be a disappointing waste of time.
Tickets are available at the front desk of the British Embassy in Seoul for 5,000 won, only prior to the events.

Six Japanese Films to Screen
The Japanese Culture Center in Seoul presents six Japanese films from July 23 through Aug. 1 at its building in Anguk-dong, Seoul.
The movies are part of an exhibition on the ``Japanese Summer,'' a cultural project which kicked off last Saturday with an art exhibition, dance performance and a Japanese cultural experience program for children.
They include ``Unloved," ``GundamW," ``Ugetsu," ``Wild Dog" and two other animations.

French Film to Be Shown Tuesday
The French Cultural Center's Cinematheque will screen the movie ``The Fire Within" at the DongSoong Art Center in Jongno, Seoul, July 24.
The film series, which has a long history, is part of efforts by the French Embassy to promote cultural understanding among Korean people. Movies are shown every Tuesday under various themes; the theme for July and August is the films of French director Louis Malle.
