A cellist and guitarist duo will perform pieces by Spanish Ambassador Delfin Colome, renowned pianist and composer, for the first time in Korea.
The recital will be held at the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts in central Seoul on July 10.
The ambassador’s piece is titled ``Bird.’’ British cellist Michael Kevin Jones and Spanish guitarist Agustin Maruri are the guest performers.
Besides ``Bird,’’ the duo will perform a revised version of Vivaldi’s Sonata No. 6 RV., Schubert’s Sonate Arpeggione D. 821 and 12 Spanish pieces and folk songs.
The event is organized by Culturebiz, and sponsored by the Spanish Embassy in Seoul. The show will begin at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are 20,000, 30,000 and 40,000 won, and can be purchased through www.ticketlink.co.kr or by calling 1588-7890.

Executives from seven British companies will arrive in Korea next week for a networking dinner to be held at the Grand InterContinental in Samseong-dong, southern Seoul, on July 10th at 7 p.m. The dinner is open to anyone wishing to learn more about the exponential growth of Korea’s telecommunication industry.
