Comedian Jung Hyung-don will resume his TV appearance schedule, about a month after he took a break to seek treatment for his anxiety disorder.

Jung's agency FNC Entertainment released a statement, Saturday, saying that the comedian, 42, has recovered sufficiently to return to broadcasting after receiving treatment and spending time with his family.

“He was greatly sorry to have caused concern with such a sudden withdrawal from the shows he was starring in and it was a big decision to return,” it said, adding he had strong will to resume his TV career.

Last month, the comedian dropped the news that he would be temporarily halting his broadcasting activities. FNC had said on Nov. 5 he felt that his anxiety disorder was worsening.

The agency added he was determined to continue working, despite his health condition, but the company felt the need to prioritize his health and came to the conclusion that he should take a break.

Jung will pick up where he left off starting with appearing on the last episode of JTBC reality show “Carefree Kickers,” which he has been starring in since the first episode.

“Thanks to the show's production team and fellow cast members who patiently waited for Jung and kept his spot vacant, he will be rejoining the show,” FNC said.

The comedian also withdrew from his TV activities in January 2016 due to anxiety, returning about nine months later.
