Melon, Korea's music streaming service, will hold its annual awards ceremony ― MMA 2019 ― on Nov. 30 at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul.
It is the 11th edition and the official title is now MMA rather than Melon Music Awards.
MMA 2019 adopts “full of surprises” as its official catchphrase, meaning its owner Kakao, the mobile platform, will enable fans to watch and express reactions through its outlets such as Daum and Melon.
For instance, until the eve of the ceremony, fans will be able to send cheering messages to their favorite artists through the Melon website
Tickets for the awards go on sale from Oct. 31, only through the Melon website. The full lineup of artists is yet to be revealed.
