K-pop idols serving mandatory military duty will appear in the armed forces-produced musical “Return: The Promise of the Day.”
The musical is about Korean soldiers during the Korean War.
Some scenes from the show were revealed to the media during a rehearsal on Sept. 24.
It will start Oct. 22 and run through Dec. 1 at Olympic Park's Woori Financial Art Hall, southeastern Seoul.
Serving K-pop stars who will appear in the musical include Xiumin, a member of top idol group “EXO,” Onew, a member of “SHINee,” and Kim Sung-kyu and Lee Sung-yeol from “INFINITE.”
