Global contest 'Talk Talk Korea 2019' awaits creative works on Korean culture

The largest annual global content contest in Korea, “Talk Talk Korea” has begun to receive original works from all around the world on various themes of Korean culture, this weekend. Organized by Korea's foreign ministry and the culture ministry's Korean Culture and Information Service (KOCIS), the international contest has drawn some 30,000 applications from foreigners every year, with their own video, photo and webtoon creations on Korean culture.
This year's contest will be comprised of all six categories of different themes ― talk about Korea (video), Korean food (photo), Korean songs (video), illustrations of peace (illustration), speaking Korean (video), and webtoons on Koreans (webtoon).

A total of 126 works will be chosen after two comprehensive evaluations; out of the 126 works, netizens can again cast their votes to choose the one that will receive a popularity award. The makers of six first-prize entries in each category will be given an opportunity to visit Korea for five days. Other prizes include laptops, table PCs and more.
