Bad habits die hard, especially for actor Son Seung-won.
Son was caught drunk driving ― unlicensed ― on Wednesday, police said. It was his second DUI, following the first in September that saw his driver's license revoked.
Gangnam Police Station officials said the actor, 28, attempted to flee after hitting another car, injuring two men in it.
The latest incident took place at 4:20 a.m., near the CGV movie theater in Cheongdam-dong, Seoul.
After Son's Mercedes sedan hit the other car, he drove about 150 meters before a taxi driver and civilians caught him.
His blood-alcohol level was 0.206 percent, which exceeds the license revocation limit.
An investigation is under way. He is expected to be charged with multiple counts, including drunk driving, unlicensed driving and attempted hit-and-run.
Son's agency said he will put his career on hold indefinitely.
Son debuted in the musical “Spring Awakening” in 2009 and has appeared in several works, including JTBC drama “Welcome to Waikiki” in 2018.
