Harvard alumni celebrity Shin Ah-young to marry college friend

TV personality and announcer Shin Ah-young, well known as a Harvard University graduate, will become a December bride.

Her management agency Dmost Entertainment officially announced Thursday that she will tie the knot with a friend from Harvard on Dec. 22. He is two years younger than Shin and is said to be working for a U.S.-based finance and investment company.

Her agency said the wedding will be private at a venue somewhere in Seoul. "She will be continuing her career after her marriage,” the agency said. “Please send warm blessings and wish a happy start for the couple."

Shin started her career in the entertainment industry as a sportscaster at broadcaster SBS in 2011. She also starred in several entertainment programs including tvN's reality game show "The Genius" and "The Brave Teenagers."
