Actress Lee Tae-im hinted on Instagram Monday that she is about to retire.

"I've been suffering too much," Lee wrote. "I want to live a normal life from now on."

After the post went viral, it was also reported that Lee has stepped down from the MBN show "Flying Girl."

MBN told reporters Monday that Lee wanted to quit for personal reasons.

Lee made a successful comeback to the small screen last summer with the JTBC drama, "The Lady in Dignity," after a two-year hiatus.

Her break followed a ruckus with singer Yewon of K-pop girl group Jewelry in 2015, which later came to force her out of the entertainment industry.

Lee's agency Management HENEM said it was checking with Lee about the Instagram post.
