Actress Kim Ha-neul pregnant

Actress Kim Ha-neul, 39, is pregnant, her agency SM C&C said Tuesday.

It said Kim is in the “early stage of pregnancy” and was asked to avoid schedules requiring her to stand for a long time or be active. In line with this, Kim recently canceled her co-hosting of the Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) opening ceremony on Thursday evening. Yoona of K-pop girl band Girls’ Generation will take her place.

Kim married businessman Choi Jin-hyeok last year.
