K-pop boy band EXO has clinched the top prize at the Golden Disc Awards for the fourth consecutive year.

According to the Ilgan Sports, one of the ceremony’s organizers, EXO won “Album of the Year” with “EX’ACT.” The 31st Golden Disc Awards were held on Saturday at Kintex in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province.

EXO is the first in the award’s history to win four years in a row, breaking the record of Korean singer Kim Gun-mo, who won three straight grand prizes from 1994 to 1996.

“I really appreciate the SM family and those who helped us from behind the scenes, and I sincerely thank our fans, EXO-Ls,” said group leader Suho. “It has been four to five years that we have received prizes at this ceremony, and the heaviest award above all is the grand prize. We will do our best to bear the weight of the prize.”

Other band members also thanked fans, and promised to continue to work hard.

EXO released its third full album, “EX’ACT,” last June. It was the most-ordered K-pop album and sold more than a million copies in six months.

The album’s title tracks are “Monster” and “Lucky One.”
