South Korean girl group TWICE swept local music charts on the release of their new EP album "TWICEcoaster: LANE1" on Monday.

The lead single, "TT," has topped real-time charts on eight major music websites, including MelON, Mnet, Bugs Music and Genie, as of 7 a.m.

Written by producing duo Black Eyed Pilseung who had also composed TWICE's previous hits "Like OOH-AHH" and "Cheer Up," the track well-portrays the group's bright, bubbly vibes.

TWICE released its second album "Page Two" in April, with accumulated sales of around 160,000 copies, a record high this year by a girl group. (Yonhap)
