K-pop boy band 2PM will return next month with its sixth album that is distinct from previous albums in music style.

The album will hit the market in mid-September, according to the band’s agency JYP Entertainment.

The agency noted that the album would feature “very different”songs from previous albums, but did not elaborate. The band’s fifth album “No. 5” was released in June 2015.

But an insider said the new album would be “soft and gentle, not wild and energetic as it was previously.”

2PM debuted in 2008 with the album “10 out of 10” and instantly shot to stardom. It has since expanded its fan base beyond Korea, sweeping major Asian music charts with “Heartbeat” (2009), “I’ll be back” (2011) and “Comeback When You Hear This Song” (2013), among others.
