K-pop band AOA reaches No. 4 on Oricon Chart

K-pop girl band AOA hit No. 4 on the Oricon Chart with its new Japanese single released Wednesday.

“AOA ranked in fourth place on the daily Oricon Chart in Japan with its new song ‘Good Luck,’ as of Wednesday,” its agency, FNC Entertainment, said. “The band also topped the K-pop chart of Recochoku, Japan’s largest music website, and ranked No. 3 on Tower Records’ world chart on the same day.”

The eight-member group debuted in 2012 with the mini-album “Angels’ Story.” It gained popularity through several hit songs, including “Miniskirt” (2015), “Short Hair” (2015) and “Like a Cat” (2015).
