Lee Hi launches first Asian “Seoulite” showcase

Singer Lee Hi will hold her first Asian showcase tour, beginning on July 27 in Shanghai.

According to YG Entertainment Tuesday, the “2016 Lee Hi Seoulite Showcase” is her first Asian tour since her debut in 2012. Lee also will promote her album, “Seoulite,” released in April.

After Shanghai, the tour will visit Taipei on Aug 5. The schedules for following showcases have not been revealed.

The Shanghai showcase will be in a theater that holds about 1,000 fans. Lee will perform her hit songs, including “My Star,” “Breathe,” and “1,2,3,4.”

In March, the title track ― “Hold my hand” ― from Lee’s half-album “Seoulite” was No.1 in the K-pop weekly chart of a Chinese music site, QQ Music. Title track “My Star” from her full album “Seoulite,” released the following month, nailed No.1 spot on the site’s newly released songs chart, expanding her popularity among Asian fans.
