A prostitution agency has hacked into chef-entertainer Lee Yeon-bok’s SNS site and advertised for a prostitute.

The ad was posted on the star’s Instagram site on Wednesday morning. Lee has over 137,000 followers.

The ad, with a woman’s photo, sought “a male prostitute in their 20s to 40s” who will serve “divorced women in their early 20s.” It also included information about pay and the agency’s contact ID on KakaoTalk, Korea’s most popular smartphone messaging app.

Lee’s followers expressed anger at the post, saying the site appears to have been hacked and criticized the unidentified netizen’s unethical behavior. One said: “You must be laughing at our comments after you hacked into someone else’s SNS site while idling away.”

Lee responded to the post, saying: “Many worried and contacted me regarding the post after my Instagram was hacked. All has been resolved. Thank you all.”

Lee, who owns Chinese restaurant Mokran in Seoul, is one of the country’s leading chef-entertainers, appearing in TV variety shows including “Please Take Care of My Refrigerator” and “Global Chef Wars” on JTBC.
