Gong Minzy finds new management company

Gong Minzy, a former member of K-pop band 2NE1, will sign with a new management company, Sports Donga reported Monday.

The entertainment news outlet cited a source close to the singer as saying Gong had recently decided to join the as-yet-unidentified agency, which handled several talented musicians.

The singer has not signed the contract yet because she is waiting for her contract with YG Entertainment to expire in two weeks.

Gong said at the start of this month that she would be leaving the band and YG.

YG released a statement at that time, saying, “We fully understand Gong’s position and the difficult period she went through due to the team’s inactive status for two years.”
