Hyeri, a member of K-pop band Girl's Day, has returned home after days of intensive treatment for meningitis, Dream Tea Entertainment said Friday.
The singer-actress, 22, widely known as the heroine of tvN's hit series "Reply 1988," was released from hospital about 4 p.m. Thursday.
“The doctors said her condition has much improved and gave her prescriptions to take home while she rests,” an agency official said.
Hyeri was diagnosed with meningitis _ inflammation of the protective membranes of the brain and spinal cord _ on March 6, days after coming down with a high fever and severe headache.
After her health worsened, Hyeri's scheduled appointments were called off indefinitely.
The fever and headache are gone, but Hyeri will rest to recover fully.
