The new drama “Descendants of the Sun” has drawn a record audience after only three episodes.
The Wednesday/Thursday drama, which airs on KBS 2TV, registered a national rating average of 23.4 percent for its third episode on Wednesday, according to Nielsen Korea and reports.

The drama is about a romance between Yoo Shi-jin (Song Joong-ki), leader of a special military command unit, and Kang Mo-yeon (Song Hey-kyo), a doctor, in the fictional war-torn country of Uruk.
In the previous episode, Yoo and Kang were reunited in Uruk.
