Actor Lee Dong-hwi is set to appear in the Korean version of the hit American TV series “Entourage,” according to reports Thursday.
Lee, who shot to fame as Dong-ryong in tvN’s “Reply 1988,” will be Turtle in “Entourage Korea,” a character played by Jerry Ferrara in the original. Turtle finds the good in all bad situations and brings relative calm to the group.
“Entourage Korea” will also feature Seo Kang-jun (from tvN drama “Cheese in the Trap”), Cho Jin-woong (from 2015 blockbuster movie “Assassination”), Yim Si-wan (from tvN hit TV drama “Misaeng”) and Lee Kwang-soo (from variety show “Running Man” on SBS) as the four main characters.
They have started filming the drama, which will air on tvN I n July.
HBO's “Entourage” premiered in 2004 and ended in 2011 after eight seasons. The series portrayed the acting career of Vincent Chase (Adrian Grenier) _ a popular movie star _ and his childhood friends from Queens in New York City as they struggled to thrive in Hollywood.
