A sequel to the 2001 film “My Sassy Girl” will premiere in China on April 22, Chinese media reported Tuesday.
“My New Sassy Girl,” starring Cha Tae-hyun and Victoria of K-pop band f(x), is a collaboration between Korea and China.
“The narrative will follow Gyun-woo, portrayed by Cha, who falls in love with a new sassy girl,” director Cho Geun-sik told Chinese media.

Cha also played the lead role in the first “Sassy Girl” film opposite Jun Ji-hyun.
Victoria is a Chinese member and leader of idol group f(x).
