Former basketball player and idol singer to co-host TV talk show

Basketball player-turned-TV entertainer Seo Jang-hoon and idol singer Hwang Kwang-hee are joining TV talk show “Healing Camp” as deputy MCs.

The SBS show hosted by MC Kim Jae-dong previously used the pair on Oct. 7 as one-time MCs when the show had actor Joo Won as a guest.

The program’s director has decided to hire the pair for an indefinite period, thinking their roles could create synergy with Kim and boost the show’s ratings.

A director, identified as Kwok, said Hwang was good at making guests comfortable and Seo is a talented talker who knows how to entertain TV viewers by asking appropriate questions.

The pair’s debut as deputy MCs is on Monday when singer Jang Yoon-ju will be the invited guest.
