First hip-hop relay concert in Korea

Hip Hop Stock Concert, a name based on the famous Woodstock festival, starts Aug. 27 and will be held every Thursday through Nov. 5 at Club Answer.

The event will feature rappers such as Epik High, Zico, Verbal Jint and Jessi.

The rappers said they hope the festival will become part of performance culture.

Musician Youngnolb said: “We will harmonize our music with Korean sentiment while not hiding our musicality.”
