Tablo, Joey Bada$$ team up for single

Tablo and American hip-hop artist Joey Bada$$ will collaborate on a new single coming out next month, the South Korean-born Canadian's talent agency said Monday.

Tablo has been chosen as a featuring artist in a global hip-hop project featuring the American rapper, YG Entertainment said.

The two will rap on a track composed by South Korean producer Code Kunst for the project organized by another local agency, Luminant Entertainment.

Joey Bada$$ rose to fame with his solo mixtape "1999" in 2012. In January, he released an album "B4.DA.$$" in which he brings back old school and boom-bap style hip-hop from the 1990s.

The "highly anticipated" single will be released sometime in August, YG said without giving the exact date. (Yonhap)
