More stars turning to private weddings

The wedding of Bae Yong-joon and Park Soo-jin brings memories of other super stars’ weddings.

Like Bae and Park, more stars are choosing smaller, private weddings.

Actors Won Bin and Lee Na-young tied the knot at a secret ceremony in May. They married at a remote location in Won’s hometown in Jeongseon, Gangwon Province.

Singers Lee Hyo-ri and Lee Sang-soon also wed privately at their house on Jeju Island, with only immediate families invited.

Top stars have usually celebrated their marriage at a five-star hotel. Actors Jang Dong-gun and Ko So-young’s wed at Hotel Shilla in Seoul in 2010.
