EXO sweeps charts with 2nd album 'Love Me Right'

K-pop idol boy band EXO started strong Wednesday with their new album, “Love Me Right,” immediately jumping to the top spots on the nation’s major online music charts.

The title song by SM Town’s 12-member band took the No. 1 spots on online music charts including Melon, Genie and Naver Music. The websites also positioned the band’s other songs from the album, “Tender Love” and First Love,” in their top 10.

Melon temporarily experienced a server breakdown Wednesday as netizens inundated the website to listen to the band’s new songs, which were released at midnight Tuesday.

Released online with the album was a music video for “Love Me Right,” where members boast their signature regimental choreography with strong dance beats.
