Lee Tae-ran to marry next month

Actress Lee Tae-ran, 39, will marry a businessman of the same age at a wedding hall in Shinsa-dong, Seoul, on March 1, her management agency said on Monday.

The groom is Shin Seung-hwan, CEO of a tech startup. The couple was introduced to each other by their mutual friend and have been dating for about one year, according to the agency.

“Shin is a very diligent, creditable person with a strong sense of responsibility. I was attracted to him because of this” Lee was quoted as saying in a statement released by the agency. “Our wedding ceremony will be very humble. Only family members will be invited to the event. In this regard, I would like to apologize to my friends.” She added the ceremony won’t be open to the media as well.
