Starkey Korea, a local distributor of Starkey hearing aids, won the in-house best performance award this year.
The company announced that its CEO Richard Shim won the 2012 Business Performance Award on June 19 (local time) during the Starkey 2013 Global Business Conference, held at its headquarters in Minnesota, the United States.
Each year Starkey Hearing Technologies managers from around the world hold business conferences, where the best performing branches awarded in recognition of improved sales figures, managerial innovations and competitiveness growth.
It is the second time Starkey Korea was selected as the winner of the award, following the one in 2011.
During the conference, Shim gave a presentation, highlighting the success of the Korean branch’s sales networks, to some 300 business managers and marketing personnel.
“It is a personal honor to present our successful marketing strategies. I will do my utmost effort to make our branch the best one in terms of product quality and service,” said Shim.
Starkey Korea is a leading hearing aid company, which ranks top in the areas of market shares, sales and customer satisfaction in Korea.
It runs various innovative services under the company’s slogan “We never say no.” For instance, it gives new hearing aids to customers who lose them within the warranty period. It even provides repair services for other hearing aid brands.
It also adds cultural factors in its marketing activities such as musical concerts and exhibitions.
