November promises exciting comebacks of K-pop megastars, rookies with new music

November will be an exciting month for the K-pop scene, featuring comebacks from major stars like BTS' Jin and SHINee's Minho to rising rookies Babymonster and TWS.

BTS member Jin will drop his first solo album, his first official comeback since he was discharged from mandatory military service in June.

The album, titled "Happy" and slated for Nov. 15, will include six songs across various genres based on band sounds.

"The album shares a message about embarking on a journey to find happiness together. Through this album, Jin will candidly share his thoughts about happiness and deliver his warm feelings toward ARMYs (BTS' fandom)," the singer's agency, BigHit Music, said in an announcement.

Jin will unveil one of the tracks, "I'll Be There," from the upcoming album, on Friday, prior to the album's official release. He shared a glimpse of the new song with a teaser of its music video on his social media.

Minho of SHINee will release his first full-length album as a solo artist, "CALL BACK." The album, which will hit the shelves on Nov. 4, will consist of 10 tracks, including the title song of the same name.

"Minho will showcase his broad musical spectrum with songs that have diverse charms," his agency SM Entertainment said in a release.

The album comes about 10 months after his last single, "Stay for a Night," from January. Following the album's release, the singer is set to hold his first solo concert, "2024 MINHO CONCERT [MEAN : of my first]," on Nov. 30 and Dec. 1, at Korea University Hwajeong Gymnasium in Seongbuk District, Seoul.

K-pop legend G-Dragon of Big Bang is also preparing to pick up his solo act, confirming his performance on the final day of the 2024 MAMA AWARDS on Nov. 23 at Kyocera Dome Osaka, Japan. This will be his first performance at the awards since 2015.

The singer's agency, Galaxy Corporation, announced in April that he is working on a new album he aims to release in the latter half of this year. His solo act comes about seven years after he released the 2017 mini-album "Kwon Ji Yong."

Although the release date for his upcoming project has not been confirmed, the singer teased his comeback earlier this week by sharing an image on his social media that reads "loading progress 10%" against a black background.

On the rookie front, YG Entertainment's newest girl group, Babymonster, is returning with its first full-length album, "DRIP," on Nov. 1.

The upcoming album will feature nine songs, including two title tracks "CLIK CLAK" and "DRIP." G-Dragon took part in composing the song "DRIP."

The group, which debuted with the mini-album "BABYMONS7ER" in April, has been teasing its first full-length album by releasing snippets of several tracks, including "Love, Maybe," "Woke Up In Tokyo," "BILLIONAIRE" and "CLIK CLAK." It prereleased one of its tracks, "FOREVER," in July.

"Babymonster will open its comeback with double title tracks 'CLIK CLAK' and 'DRIP' and plans to continue its act with 'Love In My Heart.' As each song has its own unique charm, please look forward to its journey filled with diverse appeals," the agency said in a release.

HYBE's Pledis Entertainment announced its boy band TWS, which debuted in January, will come back next month with a new album. The new album's release date and title are yet to be disclosed.

"We ask for much attention to the group's expanded musical spectrum that will meaningfully decorate the beginning and end of 2024," the agency said.

The new release comes about five months after its second mini-album, "SUMMER BEAT!."
