BTS V to release photo book 'TYPE 1' in July

A photobook featuring K-pop juggernaut BTS member V is set to be released in July.

The photobook titled "TYPE 1," shot before his enlistment in December 2023, will meet his fans on July 9, the artist's agency Big Hit Music announced Wednesday.

A poster for the publication, unveiled on BTS's official social media channels, features V leaning against a wall in a relaxed posture, showing a moment of rest. The lyrics of V's self-composed song "Scenery" are written at the top of the poster, further raising anticipation.

According to his agency, V actively participated in making the book from the planning stages, personally selecting the shooting location and title and curating moments he wanted to share with the K-pop group's fandom ARMY through the 224-page photobook.

V is currently serving in the Korean Army's Special Duties Team and is due for discharge in June 2025.
