Singer Kim Jong-kook is making a comeback with the single “Forget Me Not,” slated to be released Tuesday.

This will be his first solo release in eight years since his seventh album “Journey Home” in 2012.

“'Forget Me Not' is a ballad with mellow acoustic sounds,” Kim's agency JK Entertainment said. "It narrates painful but cherished memories of love in Kim Jong-kook's unique sentimental voice.”

Kim took part in producing the song, along with producers TAIBIAN and Bark, who are known for working with K-pop stars like Red Velvet, April and Yoon Mi-rae.

The single will hit streaming sites at 6 p.m.

Kim debuted as a vocalist with the popular duo Turbo in 1995. The two garnered huge popularity across Asia with hits such as “My Childhood Dream” and “Black Cat.”

After the duo disbanded in 2001, he made a solo debut with the album “Renaissance” the same year, an album that was the highlight of his career. He has released a string of hits, including “One Man” and “Loveable.”

He has also appeared in various TV shows, including “My Ugly Duckling” and “I Can See Your Voice.”
