Singer Lee Jae-hoon saves unconscious person with CPR

Singer Lee Jae-hoon, a member of 90s K-pop group Cool, has been praised online as he performed CPR on a person who collapsed at a market on Jeju Island, Sunday.
His act as a good Samaritan saw him thrust into the spotlight when a user shared the incident online, the same day.
“Lee Jae-hoon gave CPR to a person who was knocked out at a market. Then, he just left after handing that person over to the paramedics,” the user said, adding that only Lee and one other person stepped in to help.
The artist's agency Cool Company confirmed the incident on Monday, saying “Lee is glad to have helped save someone who was in trouble.”
The company said that Lee knows how to perform CPR because he is a certified scuba diving instructor.
Lee debuted in 1994 as the main vocalist of Cool, a group that enjoyed huge fame in the 1990s to early 2000s. The group had a string of hits, including “Sorrow Thoughts” (1998), “Aloha” (2001), and “All For You” (2000).
He moved to Jeju Island in 2013 and currently runs a food business there.
