YG Entertainment's new boy band “TREASURE” is set to make its debut in July, becoming the agency's latest rookie group after BLACKPINK.
The agency released a teaser video on its social media, Tuesday. The video introduced all 12 members with the phrase “Ready to launch.”
“As BLACKPINK's comeback is set for June, TREASURE's debut will be in July,” YG said, adding that it would keep fans posted about the exact date.
The group's debut has been long-awaited by fans as its members were selected through the K-pop survival show “YG Treasure Box” in 2018. About 29 trainees competed on the show and 12 made it into the final group.
Since YG announced the final members in January, it has been releasing the members' images and promotional videos on social media.
The group's journey to becoming an official boy band was also shared on the digital reality show “TREASURE MAP.”
