Celebrities are putting themselves in the picture as they make their voices heard by voting in Wednesday's parliamentary elections, with many posting photos of themselves at polling stations to encourage their fans also to cast a ballot.

K-pop artist Ha Sung-woon, a former member of disbanded boy band Wanna One, shared a picture of himself holding a proof of voting card Wednesday that had the caption “Cast my precious vote wearing a face mask!”
Actor Park Hae-jin appeared at a polling station in Seocho-gu, southern Seoul, to cast his vote. He later wrote on his social media: “I voted. Hope my vote plays a great part.”

Several celebrities took the opportunity to cast their first vote after reaching voting age.
Model Han Hyun-min, 19, uploaded a picture of himself to social media after casting his ballot. “Friends let's vote!!!,” he wrote with a hashtag “First vote in my life.”
K-pop group Rocket Punch's members ― Suyun and Yunkyoung ― and actress Lee Su-min also captured the moment after their first votes.
