K-pop stars cancel events to mourn Goo Ha-ra's death

K-pop singers have called off their planned events to express their condolences on the sudden death of K-pop star Goo Ha-ra.

Goo, a former member of KARA, was found dead on Sunday at her home in Cheongdam-dong, Seoul. An investigation is under way to find the cause of her death. Police said Monday they had found no sign of foul play.

K-pop girl band AOA canceled a showcase for its sixth album “NEW MOON,” scheduled for Tuesday.

Boy band EXO put off the release of a teaser for its sixth album “Obsession” and canceled a related showcase.

R&B singer Crush rescheduled the release of his second album “From Midnight To Sunrise” ― scheduled for Thursday ― to next month.

On Monday, KBS TV canceled a media presentation about a new entertainment program featuring top actor Jung Hae-in.

On the same day, girl band MAMAMOO canceled an online meet-and-greet with fans.
