Ex-I.O.I Jeon Somi to make solo debut in June

Former I.O.I member Jeon Somi will make her long-awaited solo debut in June with her new agency The Black Label.

On Monday, the singer posted on her Instagram a teaser image with the date of the track's release, June 13.

Her debut was supposed to be on May 1, but the date was pushed back reportedly due to issues with her agency.

Her solo debut will be made under her new agency The Black Label, the YG-affiliated management agency, after she and JYP agreed to part ways last August.

Her upcoming solo album is known to have been produced by YG's hit record producer Teddy who was behind the success of many of the hip hop label's top artists including 2NE1 and BLACKPINK. Teddy now leads The Black Label.
