Will TWICE still be able to appeal to music fans with their new concept?
Instead of shy girls with rosy cheeks, TWICE unveiled its seventh mini album “FANCY YOU” on Monday with charismatic lyrics, and showcasing powerful choreography in music video, “FANCY.”
Previously their songs were rather passive when describing relationships which is seen in the lyrics “please understand my feelings,” but this time the girls are bolder singing, “I will get you right now.”
The seventh album with six tracks is a mix of electric pop with a touch of flute music, offering a graceful yet trendy vibe.

Each song on the album brings out different sounds as they worked in collaboration with multiple international artists, including Charli XCX and the TWICE members ― Jihyo, Momo, Sana, and Chae-young― actively participating in writing the lyrics.
“Their participation is helping TWICE regain authenticity, showing the true colors of the group,” the staff at JYP Entertainment said.
Fans revealed their high expectations about the girl band's new album even before it was released.
Short highlight clips released from time to time, containing melodies and dance moves on its official social network channels, thrilled them. Another clip was released without notice at midnight, 18 hours before the official release on Wednesday.
TWICE has been going from strength to strength since its debut with addictive songs such as "OOH-AHH," “CHEER UP." "TT," LIKEY." Black-eyed Pilseung that has been in charge of producing, once again took the same seat for another hit.
After the release, the girls will head off on a world tour with concerts in nine different cities across seven countries, starting in Seoul in May 25 to 26, then Bangkok, Manila, Singapore, Los Angeles, Mexico City, Newark, Chicago and Kuala Lumpur.
TWICE said they hope to meet with international fans such as Top Girl Group in Asia. The album was officially revealed at 6 p.m. on Monday, on music streaming websites.
