Is AOA's Ji Min ill?

In contrast to her healthy appearance before the group went dormant, AOA's Ji Min looks gaunt and frail in the latest photos.

Photos of an extremely gaunt Ji Min of K-pop girl band AOA have sparked speculation that she has a health problem.

The band's agency FNC Entertainment denied this but fell short of curbing rumors spreading that Ji Min is ill. AOA is preparing for its next album and has been dormant since May.

The online brouhaha started with photos Ji Min posted on her Instagram Tuesday.

In stark contrast to her healthy appearance seen when the group was performing, Ji Min looks gaunt and frail. Some raised the possibility that she has anorexia.

“She is absolutely healthy. No problem with her,” FNC said on Wednesday. “She is keeping her health with regular workouts and consumption of nutritionally balanced meals.”

In a 2014 interview, Ji Min revealed she weighs 41-45 kilograms and eats one meal a day to maintain her body shape.
